I, meanwhile had a nice 'ole chat with Terry n Helen in Horizon, plus Skelly and the plans are for a meet at Brouklis tonight. - We haven't been out for a while and have saved our euros for a mini binge which may include at least half a bottle of Retsina.
Nan , We hope will also be there. - Dimitris , Can we have a cat each please? -  Don't like sharing!

:D I hope you enjoyed the cats and the company!
Life is good ;)

Well spurred on by the drop in wind to absolute stillness and a clear fresh morning I set out at 8am to walk the long way to St Steph past the laundry. I had breakfast at the Condor (5 euros amazing value) and then walked the length of the beach. I then turned round and walked the length of St. Steph beach up over the headland to Nikos's new bar where I had a coffee and some water ( 2.80 euros with a little croissant again great value in smart surroundings and amazing view)then wandered back to Helios Court.

Took 4 hours in total and by the time I got back it was hot hot hot. Beaches look stunning.

Pool time now!

Negg, you spoiled and ungrateful man !!!
That's what we have in DK in the afternoon these days, if we're lucky!!

Well, I'm off tomorrow morning to spend two weeks in Corfu and I will be
CHEERING each morning: wind, rain or sunshine.
Hope to see you around in Arillas before Sept. 9th when I'm off to Messonghi
for my second week.

Sounds like a recipe for a perfect morning Frank.

Whilst on your travels did you notice if the cash machine in San Stephanos was working?

Neggy, I'm saving up calories for Sunday. I have the body of a sportsman but only just realised it was for darts.

Eileen, I'll pop down in a while and check. Could use more cash.

My holiday has been much more social than expected. Nan has been leading me astray. Met more nice people from the forum last night.
