Nan

OH Bliss!

I am here as reported and happily typing this in the Mathraki taking advantage of the hot spot! Well what's a girl to do when she's on her holidays. After a very smooth flight I arrived to warmth and sunshine but a nice breeze to keep me from melting.

Have caught up with Eggy and spoken to Cheryl- already planning a meet up at the Horizon in the afternoon tomorrow! So everything is off to a flying start as they say.

Been for a lovely swim this afternoon in the Mathraki pool and had a drink with the lovely hosts Akis and Nick who gave me a warm welcome as did Koula from Alexandros studios. Do you know how nice it is to be here?  Yes I suppose you do my friends :-)

I LOVE IT HERE !!

Cheers Nan xx

Ah nan meluvver, to quote a certain Finn, "life is good." So glad to read Eggy's post that you arrived safely. Apparently Mathraki is now X-rated and for adults only. Well, I guess you qualify (just...)

Give Hana, Kostas and Perry Maria and their sprogs our love. They will look after you if you get lonely. Bloody likely eh? In Arillas nan you will be overwhelmed with welcome. Just tell Eggy I have a very large bone to pick with him

Seriously though, Jen and me are so hoping to read your posts. Arillas will surprise you nan. Well, it always surprises us again and again. Have a great time. If there were any justice in this world we'd be sharing it with you luvver.

'appy 'olidays nan meluvver.

Bone to pick Phil - These joints of mine are such, at the moment , that I wish I could pick some new bones to replace them. - Probably a new liver is needed as well
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to a different Arillas today. - Windy n Breezy it is. Which many of us understand  and many of us have come to love. - All cobwebs blown from head and tomorrow is another day. Sandblasting is offered on the beach today but not many takers!
The average temp of 24 deg is still very welcoming though.

Found Gary of "Rent-a-Boat" fame sat in Horizon enjoying a beer or two. As LLoyd Grossman would say: - " Who would hire a boat in weather like this?" - Maybe?

I, meanwhile had a nice 'ole chat with Terry n Helen in Horizon, plus Skelly and the plans are for a meet at Brouklis tonight. - We haven't been out for a while and have saved our euros for a mini binge which may include at least half a bottle of Retsina.
Nan , We hope will also be there. -
Dimitris , Can we have a cat each please? -  Don't like sharing!

On the cat home front , meanwhile, Homer has found a new place for his morning siesta.

Who needs a "wobbly headed toy" on a luggage rack when you can have the real thing
And, who needs a luggage rack when you can share a hammock with a mate?

I can tell you Cheryl and daughter have been spotted and are having a good time and I think that I will have to be a coiled spring to find everyone here this week.
(Before they spot me and hide away! ) Not nuff hours in the day.- WOTSITALLABOUT?
Cheers All

Lovely photos Eggy, and thanks for the report as well.
Homer seems to be very happy and contend, that warms
the heart of this little old cat-loving lady !!

See you all very soon.

Eggy mate was only joking. As for livers, I guess mine might not be such a good idea.....

I love the windy days like today. Thanks for the report and photos.

And have a great time tonight both of you.
