How do I forget Kevin , Kay and Barbara? - Has this ouzo turned my brain into Jelly?

Mavis n Robin, Wendy n Stuart, Paul n Maria - Who else ?

But.... as John the Ref says "Make the best of the next two weeks"

White van man has already been around warning locals and they are busy boarding up windows and changing door locks.
Brouklis has had "Beware of the Rabid Liver" signs already painted and rumour has it that Dimitris's hair is beginning to turn white.
Who are we talking about here? Whoever it is they will not have a chance to get a word in edgeways when they arrive. We all drink their health and wish them a safe trip.

Now all we need is Erja and Heide to keep a civilised hold on things! -
(Maybe - depends if someone runs out of Mythos? / Ionian? / Amstel. )

Cheers

If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Eggy

Phil n Jen - You know we all luvya really and, with your sense of humour like mine, we just gotta take a bit o jovial stick sometimes.
( I am still talking hindlegs from donkeys )

How are you going to get your own back when you're "home"?
Shall I keep a low profile?
Dare you cross the road in front of white van man?
All these questions will soon be answered.

A twinge of overnight rain here did no damage whatsoever to Arillas today. Good temps of 28/29 deg and a peaceful day had by all, I think.
I spent a very acceptable 2 hours chatting with Geoffrey with G and lady lunchtime.
Such a shame they go home tonight. - A very pleasant relaxing time.

Sharon n Billy popped to Linakis this morning for a hello and recce.
( Did they have to walk on my wet pool tiles? )

Wegg back to the UK early morning to give a little maternal support to daughter Fran n Hubbie Tim who are very nearly at the parent stage. I will be fine here as I have maps on how to find the cooker and washing machine. I have a memo on what an iron looks like! A photo of the ironing board is pinned to the wall.
( Not sure If I can drink and cook though especially whilst ironing? )
Hmmmm !

A few games of darts organised from Tuesday though and I may just get to the Afionas Festival on Weds evening. - ( After the housework  of course! )

Watch this space people, in case i advertise for a housemaid. ( Too old for an Au-pair)

Cheers

I don't know whether to be flattered or flabbergasted! Thanks to all for taking the time to put this together. Don't worry about our sensibilities. You know us well enough to realise we both had such a good laugh!

Shoot the messenger? Never. But chilli-flavoured jellybabies mmmm... now there's a thought!

See you all very soon

Arrived here monday at about 14.00 after about 40 hours without sleep, didn't even know my own name ! We were a bit worried about the weather but it had cleared up and the afternoon was great. During the night we had a very loud thunderstorm and woke to a dull, overcast day with rain, but in true Greek fashion this burnt itself off by lunchtime and the afternoon was glorious.
In the evening we had our walk around the village followed by cocktails in the Malibu and Coconut then dinner in Thallassus, but instead of watching the usual spectacular sunset , we watched the storm clouds gathering and were treated to a truly spectacular lightning display of almost biblical proportions !
It rained for much of last night and is just finishing now so hopefully the sun will be out again soon.
For anyone worrying about the weather as we were, there's no need, because the days seem to be fine and the storms are just " evening entertainment".
Might post some more later but for now i have to do some more relaxing, all this typing has quite worn me out !

Mango

thanks for the weather report garythebike.

we fly out on friday and I have been watching the weather, on teletext it says sunny for Friday and Saturday but on this website it says thunderstorms.

So long as they are at night, I can handle that.
