Ah Eggy - we also had a graveyard outside the back door when our Weggy was young. Thank goodness we didn't have a catflap in those days. Though these days she barely gets through it - we need a bigger one...

I just can't imagine what she would have brought back if we lived where you do! (Wish we did, but that's another story...) These days, she is just a vast, furry ball of affectionate moggy who prefers sleeping next to me to chasing little creatures round the countryside.

So glad you only damaged the pug - but very conscious of how much it will cost to fix. Take care of Wegg and Megg. See you in July

Hi ,Eggy. Know how you feel, mate. Our car has been off the road for two weeks now getting repaired.  Front end like yours,in bits. At least we`ve got a courtesy car to use.
Take care of yourself.

Hi all and especially Eggy!
Glad to hear u came out of that one o.k. We had one of those ourselves recently, we 'dyked' the Landrover on a straight quiet country road doing 35mph max, driving along chatting one minute, hit a tree upside down in a dyke water flooding in the next..steering shaft snapped, only been through MOT 3 weeks previously?
It makes u sit up and take notice. lol! xxxxx

Negg, what a relief you are safe, we've driven down that road and to think you skidded on there with those drops, you must be a good driver!

The size of that moth!!  I would have been screaming for the hills, lol, can handle spiders, but anything with wings, even a tiny moth, no thanks!

Take Care Neil and Wendy,

Just lucky Sharon , just lucky.

Current repair quote for Pug sits at 2000 euros. It may rise a twinge more.
Don't be put off by hiring a car though. From, just before, Dafni to Agros all the roads have been re-surfaced and some made a little wider. Most have the red/wite posts along the side of the roads which helps you if you get a little close to the edge.
They make driving to Corfu Town a much nicer pleasure now.
( Just be careful around Troumbeta bends! )

Not an "Arillas Today" but an "Arillas Yesterday" with a pic of Agious Georgeous to start it off.

It's been a wet and very breezy Sunday/Monday but today , at least, the wind has died down. This was yesterdays veiw of Arillas from a balcony in Afionas.

I only left the car for a few minutes to take this of the beach.

Far too choppy for a walk on the jetty, Terry.

Finally, Jean Walsh has now finished our painting. This is the veiw, of Kavadaddes, taken from our balcony. A very talented lady.

Cheers
