I recognized that as well Sandy.... I mentioned to Eggy last year that it would be a good "holiday place" for us, we wouldnt mind where we slept... now that I have seen the dartboard though I think the darts 'thudding" on the board would keep us awake!  :-)
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

It won't be the darts thudding on the wall to keep you awake. It will be the loud swear words coming from the thrower when he keeps missing!

I feel really ashamed now that someone else has taken a pic of the new footie pitch.
( what do I do all day? - I ask myself ) - Bit nice though innit?

Arillas today? - Another Sunday has come around so quickly that I can't remember what I've done all week. - It's like a tie warp sometimes.

A Sunday, in August, in Arillas.

I managed to squeeze the Pug in the only parking space left available , but the guy on the sunbed wasn't very happy about me taking his sun. Surely while he's under the car the least he can do is change the oil?

Many families here at the momemnt proving, once again, that Arillas suits all ages.
Many languages also being heard proving that Arillas suits all nationalities.

"Step" daughter, Fran and ,NEW Husband Tim, from May 08, here for a week so a few evening binges may be on the cards. I hate that word "step" so may choose to loose it in the very near future,

All in all , another great day which saw me take myself off to Night Owl, followed by a trip to Coconut and finishing off at the Rainbow.
( Plus I did just a small twinge of official work in between. )

Cheers all
Negg

Eggy, what a life you have, you lucky, lucky man.  Thank you so much for the photos.  If I closed my eyes, with the sun shining in Derbyshire, I could almost imagine that one of those sunbeds was mine.  Not long now.  So looking forward to seeing you and Wendy again.  Keep up the good work.  W. x

justphil

Do yer know one of the really good things about living locally?

You can re-arrange your time or proposed "Work Schedule" to pop out, for a while and do something not planned for or to meet new Forum friends.

So, 11:15 this morning took me to Horizon, for Arillas today, & to meet Sue and Ian.

Sorry Ian n Sue, gotta be said. - What a very nice couple to spend a relaxing time with and have an ouzo/coffee and a very long "rabbit"
( Ian has less hair than me and I'm sure he shaved his head to make me feel good )
Thanks, you two, for those little pressies which will be put to very good use.

Anyway, 2 very enjoyable hours later i clicked a pic of the beach.

Around 30 deg with a well behaved sea and just a few parking places left.

Home now but, of course it's too hot to continue pulling weeds from the garden!
Shame! - Always tomorrow.

Cheers
