One week in to our third visit of the season and all is good.
Started with two hot sunny days  a slight change Wednesday, rain dodging Thursday.
Picked up yesterday and its HOT and sunny today.
Arillas is still as is as good as it always is and late September is treating us well
Plenty beach to stretch on and that big wam sea to swim in
Lots of work going on at the brewery to get ready for the beer festival
With a temperature of around 25c what more can you ask for

WISH YOU WERE HERE

Arillas Today , at 6:30 pm ??? - The rain comes down with a passion I haven't seen since having the first 4 home in this years Grand National.  Our gutters overflow with the pain and all our cats have decided that their daily adventures are over and inside , on the sofa , is a good place to be.
""Water , Water , everywhere but not a drop to drink"" - Who said that??
"" Water , Water , everywhere but not enough Ouzo to do it justice" - I said that!!

Me-thinks many will take the opportunity tonight, if the rain keeps up, to have many chats with many Restaurant/Taverna owners who now have the time to take teasy. I reckon that Dimitris , Rainbow, must be hoping that some of his guests will be ready for a dart or two.
And for me??? - My butt will not budge from that special place in the corner of the sofa where Alcohol appears magically, an ashtray will be filled and darts is on Sky.

It has been a beautiful crisp sunny day here but would swap Arillas even in the rain anytime.

Well Neill looks like you didn't back Darryl Gurney for the grand prix in Dublin, he won!! C'Mon Norn Iron! Good luck to all the home nations for their world cup qualifiers, all doing well so far!

Sandra n Jim ....... Arillas Today , starts with me , looking at my betting account as I did get 9/2 at quarter final stages.
(Pity he didn't play Mensur as I had 8/1 those two would contest the final.)

So , I am a happy bunny , even though the lunchtime temp here is only 18deg and a tad breezy. Dry though.

Thanks for giving us that idyllic picture, Eggy, from a warm Corfu.  It cheers me up as the rain lashes down here in Lincolnshire.

We have again been spoilt with , around 22 deg and warm, but the temp drops very quickly from around 5 pm ish. Now 14 deg at 6:15pm. A quiet Arillas today and it looks like even our German guests are on the last flight home.
Anyway... of to Athina, tonight, to sample their lamb on the spit. - Hope that log fire is burning!!!

Arillas Today and how the elements, as life, can change with a "flick of a coin". We have seen 312mm of rain in 12 days and are the lucky ones compared to the south of the island and, of course, the mainland.
Those wise 'ole locals, in Arillas, removed the bench before the bad weather and it is now taking a well earned rest.
Sat in "Kostas on the Beach" , this afternoon, enjoying a very nice "burning away" log sombre helped to forget the wind n rain outside.
But.......... I sit here now, looking at a 14 deg outside temp, at 6pm, just hoping that dial might just go up a tad to at least 20 deg.
(IN YER DREAMS!!)
