I loved seeing the pics and thinking of all the frustration Dimi must have used showing you how to post them and the estatic joy you both must have felt when you finally said I think I've got it.xxx

Stay Nude it ante rude

Thought you guys might like appreciate , not only a super outside 16 deg "Arillas Today" buut also the view , at 6pm, from our balcony which welcomed me home. - (Plus Wegg , of course who always welcomes me home - I think!)

Looks like you may have to click on the above ( I am only an 'Ammer Chewer" - remember)

Cheers

Now that is a beautiful sunset, makes me wish it was welcoming me home....big sigh.

A fierce "Arillas Today" will bite any "Lilly White Legs" that appear on the sea front and take no prisoners.

If the bench was there I need to know who would volunteer to sit on it!!

Cheers

Steve & Carole

I'll willingly volunteer !

soniaP

So would I Steve! I would happily sit on that beach no matter what the weather than be sat in my office with snow forecast.

Eggy

The recent bad winds and no one would have volunteered to sit on the jetty.

However , all is not dull n dismal. Arillas today is looking good and "the Eggs" at Kavaddades have some new Neighhhhhh Bours.

They are very very well looked after and I must get down there and have a chat with the owners to see what riding school they are from.
(Reckon Boss Dimi will know)

And..... talking of Dimitris ... a little competition for y'all.
We bumped into him at "Costas on Beach" Friday. Guess what he was drinking?? - (Twas the evening so that is the only clue you get)
2 Glasses of Retsina for the runner-up - 1 glass of Retsina for the winner (Have you tasted Retsina-If so you can see my thinking here!!)

Cheers

Thank you for the post Eggy. I couldn't begin to guess Dimitri's tipple - I'll go for Metaxa 7. Was probably mineral water if I know him at all..........

I never tire of seeing the pics of our Magoulades area. Horses, donkeys, humans............

Phil..... Not close to Dimi's tipple , I'm afraid..... But you got it right on the pics of Magoulades area- etc.... Put those humans into third. The first and second nominations are much more interesting.

However , Tis really nice to come out on the balcony every morning and be greeted by the sight of 3 ponies/2 horses at peace with the world.

Wegg pops down to see them with a carrot or two. - Me? - just a ciggie and coffee for breakfast. - ( No one spoils me!!! )

Well , except we did get to Night Owl tonight and the bill was paid for by the lady of the house. Not a carrot in sight
(One day I will treat her to 18 of them - If I can find a jeweller open)

Bill thinks it might be the Dark Bitter from Arillas Brewery.....I am opting for a glass of red wine.

Send us an occasional pic of the horses and ponies, just to make us smile.

No dark bitter and no wine to add to Phil's "bloomer" with the metaxa.
(Does Phil wear bloomers? - Perish the thought)

Costas on the Beach, this afternoon saw the sad farewell to Gary (on the boats Gary) who leaves for England today. - Permanent move at the mo.

Many were there to wish him well and Gary is yet another limb to be removed from the body of Arillas. - He will be missed . Good Guy.

Anyway - "Chin Up" or in my case "Double Chin Up" - Life is still being kind to us all here. (Still sad to say farewell to a local though)

Cheers

Donpipez

Sorry to hear Gary is leaving.

Will this mean no boat hire from Arillas this Year?

This is one of the things we always look forward to & Jill's Sister is joining us this Year so was really looking forward to taking her out on a trip
