Phil where are you staying from October 24th onwards? Do you know where will still be open?

We're at Brouklis, but that does not mean summer service. In the last week anything goes. Some places will be open - Armourada at least. Perry at the Nut said to us last week "So we'll have you for the last week then" and Spiros at Thalassa said "we can sit and have a drink" but you can't expect everything. Graziella was open for most of last year's time but ended on the Thursday. Kaloudis might be. You can head further afield for more. It is truly a quiet time, and we love it. Our fifth time in that last week.

Hope it helps
Phil

Arillas today...hmmm..that has entailed baking in the scorching hot sun at the very fabulous Marinaki, cooling off in the very fabulous Arillas sea, eating at the very fabulous Horizon hotel, followed by cocktails on the very fabulous terrace followed by a few drinkies at the Coconut, where I am now. We are in heaven, just loving every minute.

Sorry Jo
Didn't recognise you with yer hair up. Keep it down just like yer piccie.
How did you recognise me with a shaved head?
(Probably identified dirty Punto with Egg)

Anyway... you know about Arillas Today. Average temp of 28 deg and a mild breeze that means harm to no one.

A nice mixture of French, Italians,Germans and mainland Greeks. Much fun listening to the different languages spoken.
We were at Efi's, the other night, next to a party of 5 Italians. The elderly gent with them sounded like Marlon Brando ( Godfather )
Thought they were going to order a horses head.
( - Does that come with Garlic Sauce ? - )
No disrespect meant here - Great to see many people appreciating Arillas.
Not sure what I would have done if a horses head had been served
(Probably the one I put money on in the Grand National)

Not as busy as this time last year but a very likeable crowd all round.
(Regardless of from whence they came!)
Cheers
Negg
