Another excellent report Eggy! Maybe you have found your true calling...rather than woodwork, painting, patio laying, gardening, ouzo and retsina drinking.....

Hi Mister Nickos

Please keep me updated on the Arillas Inn, do you think it was Leo or his father who was hanging around there?  Please try and find out if it will be open this year and if it is Leo's family that have still got it, this is my fave place.

Thanks
Amanda

Great Scoop Mister Nikos!

The photo of the Galini and Angelas is good... the top studio with the two little bay windows is a really nice studio... fabulous views!  We nipped in and had a nosey when the "last tenants" left, when we stayed there two years ago.  The road behind goes up to the little church and leads to the main Ag.Stef. road doesnt it?  Very nice walk it is too.

Keep it coming Eggy.. brilliant reporting.. love it!

Seing that the Galinni has invoked some very good memories I thought, maybe ,the Bardis Sun Hotel may do the same.
Plus a nice reminder for those staying there this year.

I charged Dorita 2 lemons for this free advertising. She doesn't know that yet but, as they were just hanging on that tree doing nothing they just thad to go.
(Don't think she'll mind)

Empty Arillas beach when I was there this morning and a nice 12 deg at 11:25 a.m.

Cheers
Negg

Thanks for the picture Eggy, i loved staying there back in June 2005, had a great time, my room was the ground floor right at the far end.

Could just pop over the wall and you were by the pool!

Dorita always done lovely lunches there too, and then when she shut about 6pm, i used to get ready and then mooch round to the Studios, which is where i met Bobby for the first time, he supported West Ham with me when we were watching the play offs, and we won!!

This is where i also met Shuey and her husband along with their friends.

Great memories, shall definitely spend time there when im next in Arillas.

I notice from your picture that the air con has already been put in on the ground floor. we stayed in the middle on the ground floor, room 15, with our daughter.Thought we would all be in the same room so a lovely surprise. Give our love to Doritta.

Hi Eggy!
The picture of the Bardis Sun Hotel brings back all those good memories for me, thanks. Last time I was there was on the ground floor second room from the beach end. Looks like the aircon is in. Can't wait to get there now. That lemon tree always looks sooo tempting, but haven't sampled it yet, leave some for me!
Yammas,
Martin.

Its looking really good.... as we are going in September I dont think we shall be too worried about A/C.  It should catch the sun in the mornings on the balconies there by the look of it and by the end of the day it should be nice and cool to sit out on too, nice and quiet as well.  Cant wait!

Cant see the tree and shrubs that were infront of the ground floor balconies. It is looking very neat and tidy.
