That 'ole nasty weather keeps bashing us and it's worse than sitting in a run down woodshed surrounded by dead animals and rusty tools!!
However, Beach Kostas cheers us all. We look out at a choppy sea and not feel the breeze that accompanies.
(I think a few Ouzos helps!!!!)
Byeeeee!

Enjoy Kostas on The Beach. Beats Brentford +5 with Northerly wind blowing on a dark Friday. Summer dreaming continues *deep sigh*
Life is good ;)

Just as a matter of interest, are there any taverna's open on Sundays. We watch the webcam frequently, and Sundays is a very busy day. There are a at least a dozen cars parked on the front, is someone serving a Sunday Lunch 😂🤗. Also a passer by waved at a friend, in the Thalassa. We need a local to carry out a drive by, with a camera, to show activity in the Winter.

Only 2 places open in Arillas afternoons and evenings.
"Costas on the Beach" and "Anassia" (Old Beach Point)
Both very busy on Sunday but I feel photos of the places may impeach on the Customers Privacy and my camera is an oldie not a Kevin Special. - So I have to get a tad closer and not rely on a zoomer special!!

Another choice or two for afternoons can be Louvros (Just outside Arillas) and our Kavadaddes local Kafenio.
Another evening food choice , locally, is Mon Amour at Kavadaddes which continues to offer super meals and drinks at Village prices.

I will do my best for piccies.

Cheers Negg, we only get to see the Taverna's in the summer. Of course they are always heaving , as the quality of the food and hospitality is second to none. Costas being open, makes sense, as you can see people walking over that way. But, it is sometimes deceiving, as the wide angle webcam, shows a curve in the road, which there isn't. Back in June to see if there is any changes. I did read in one of the messages that Vinceremo had gone, a pity really because the guy who ran the place was quite funny when you got to know him.

Been watching the webcam and the weather has been gorgeous over the last week and the beach is deep and looking in fine condition. I do wish someone would pick up the pot though, in front of the Thalassa, it looks uncared for 😀

Not up to me to pick up the pot, even though I was the last one to use it!!!!

Many "goings on" around Arillas as many places race to get as much as poss dun for May onwards.
Little did they know.... or maybe they did, but guests begin to appear.
Beach Kostas plus Anasis plus Brouklis have started the Summer early.
(He's a wise 'ole man is Brouklis)

Musical chairs at Beach Kostas , Sunday.  When you hear the flea fart grab the nearest seat!!!

Thallasa having a pergola revamp and "Grazella 2" is looking a bit special.
You will notice a change in Rainbow and Tria.
and... what is happening with the old "Arillas Inn" ? Creating a parking space just for my Punto????

Much more to tell but I aint telling. - Probably lazy or too much ouzo - Who knows??

A question for you.
Why is the Arillas Forum like the "Mary Celeste" ?

Hi Negg
A bit tongue in cheek

It is based on the story of the Mary Celeste, a sailing ship that was found adrift and deserted in the Atlantic Ocean in 1872, and is an imagined explanation of the disappearance of the crew and passengers.

At times it seems at times  that of the 3835 forum  members many have disappeared.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than  to speak up and remove all doubt.

Bravo Geoff,
But the only difference is that tables of partially eaten food were, alleged, to be found on the Mary Celeste.
You don't see that in Arillas.

The other difference is Facebook wasn't to blame for the Mary Celeste!

Hey Karl
We've had 84mm of rain in the last 6 days. Probably enough to refloat the Marie Celeste!

Hopefully all the "April Showers" are finished now?

A respectful 23deg here and many other Arillas places are very near to be opening.

Cheers
