HI

G FOR GREEN CRICKET on the steps at the Tria

The main difference between a grasshopper and a cricket is that crickets tend to have long antennae, grasshoppers have short antennae. Crickets stridulate ("sing") by rubbing their wings together, while grasshoppers stridulate by rubbing their long hind legs against their wings.

Love the letter L photo of a beautiful butterfly and spectacular Lantana flowers.  You see Lantana all over Corfu and it is very colourful.  The black berries look inviting but I believe the green ones are poisonous although the ripe black ones are eatable - am not prepared to try it though.
Moving on to the letter M my contribution is Me & the Little MERMAID ~ photographed 12th September 2014

Yes Patrick you are right

Many produce brilliantly colored flowers and small peppercorn-looking berries that are edible when ripe. ... When foraging Lantana berries it is vital to only consume those that are entirely ripe, as the green and partially ripened berries are toxic and can be lethal.
