GETTING TOWED IN on Billy's speedboat.
Towing in
by pj's memories, on Flickr

For the few who are unaware Billy is Vasillis Kaloudis, co-owner of the Kaloudis Holiday Village where we regularly stay when in Arillas.  He owned a speedboat and regularly gave outings in it to the little island of Ericousa (about 10 miles northwest of Corfu).  We enjoyed a trip with him one holiday, but sadly ran out of fuel half a mile from home and had to be towed in.
Sadly the speedboat sank in a storm a couple of years ago.

Regards
Pat

Hi Patrick

I know Billy told me he was bringing his boat in at san Stefan when a big wave hit the boat and it sunk. The whether was not good he hasn't been the same since the accident.
He was telling me his dad had all the land going up to the Marina hotel he was showing me the photos
With all the goats and out houses they lived in a small cottage but loads of land his dad sold the land around but kept the Kaloudis where it is now

Eggy

J   ... is for a JOB WELL DONE!!! - Blowing my own trumpet here.
Many of you will know, especially as I kept complaining about "Aches n Pains" and "Too old to be crawling on roofs" that I did a lot of work on our Pergola and shed.
Here is the finished result.

Hi
Should be respectful to your elders lol
Geoff
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than  to speak up and remove all doubt.

Eggy

Billy , Grandad throws with his left arm , I think , and now it's in plaster he has more chance of hitting the board ,,,,and not the board marker.
(I will not ask how he manages to "take a leak" , as he's not Welsh.)
Cheers
