I love this thread. Is someone can put a numpty guide o how to post photos then I would be most grateful.

Dear Sonia
To put pictures on here you first need to have a collection of photos on one of the photo sharing sites.  Examples are Flickr and Photobucket, but there are many more.
Once your photo is on one of them they offer you the chance to copy a code which you paste in your posting on the forum.  Usually they offer several types of code for different things like blogsites, forums etc.
I used Flickr for my last photo and the code known as BBC (I think it means bulletin board code).
Its a bit finicky but does work - so suggest you have a try and see how you get on.  Am sure we'd all love to see some of your photos.
If you click on the legend under my photo it will take you to Flickr and you can see hundreds of my Arillas photos!

Thanks Pat. I will have a go. I got a far recently as setting up photo bucket so just got to figure out the next step.

Letter H is next so shall we call this one HIRED Car -
its the little white Atos I hired in Arillas for two weeks which allowed us to visit many of our favourite spots in the north of Corfu during September this year.

This is the north beach Arillas and I call it IN BLOOM referring to the lovely yellow broom on the Cliffside.
I got this pic from Photobucket following these instructions:

Go to Photobucket;

Select the photo you wish to put on the forum;
To the right of the photo you will see SHARE THIS PHOTO and underneath it 4 options:

For the Arillas Forum select IMG by clicking on IMG and the box beside it will turn yellow and say copied;

Go to the forum and start a post and then use CTRL + V to paste your code into the entry.

You then write your message before the code or after the code.

Thanks Pat. Been trying to do it from photo bucket app as my photos are on my tablet. It gives various options when you click share . These are options like Facebook and TripAdvisor. There is an option copy to clipboard. I have done that and then copied it but it comes up with (IMG)(IMG). Do you know what to do then?

Well done Sonia.  Some super photos.  I like the jetty one which is from an unusual angle. Don't know if you contributed to getting the bench put up, but am very chuffed that we forum members got it put up.  Didn't get to sit on it this year as it was always occupied - its good that its so very popular.  Hope they put it away for safe keeping over the winter before any more storms take their toll.

Thanks for your help Pat. I was not there when the bench was put back. My husband took this photo in July on a rare moment when the bench was empty.
