Hi Vivian
Just remembered it is a squilla

Description Drimia maritima is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Scilloideae. This species is known by several common names, including squill, sea squill, sea onion, and maritime squill. It may also be called red squill, particularly a form which produces red-tinged flowers instead of white.

Hi

Vivian go back up see your bulb

Y FOR YELLOW BRUGMANSIA Angel's trumpets Angel's Trumpet: Brugmansia saueolens has richly scented, lily-like trumpets that hang down. The flowers are intoxicatingly fragrant in the evening.

All parts of angel's trumpets are considered poisonous and contain the alkaloids atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine. Ingestion of the plants can cause disturbing hallucinations, paralysis, tachycardia, and memory loss and can be fatal.

Hi PJ - This photo has plagued me for a while so I have to ask....
....... is that a skull cap your good lady is pressing down on??
....... is it a colour co-ordinated matching speedo skull cap??
....... and , were you wearing it at the time???
so........., is this the only way she can keep you out of the photos??
Cheers

I'm sorry to disappoint you, Eggy, but it was not me being gently drowned by my dear wife.  It was a ball which we had been playing with in the pool.

She is the one who takes most of those photos of me.  She is usually reluctant to feature in them herself.
Her favourite colour is blue, and I like the blue/green/yellow end of the spectrum so those are the colours we often go for.

Please keep up with your witty observations - they are helping get through this rather tedious lockdown.  However my garden is having more attention than usual, and I've researched and added several new folk to the family tree.

Best wishes
Pat
