German summer!

What a weather! I can´t believe!
In April/Mai so beautiful weather, hot and sun,sun, sun!!!
Than only rain, till Thursday!
Ok in all this weeks we had one two days sun.
But for the summertime not enough!
Sometimes I thought, take the heating on!
And now - I sit here in front of my computer, can´t find the way in my bed,
because it is sooooo hot (zesti) here.
The best is to sleep in the bath with a lot of cold water!
But than I think, ochi, how I look tomorrow, like a drowned body! HaHaHa!
Not good for my skin!
Hmmm! I think I must go in the basement to take my ventilator!
Than I can take it in front of my bed!
I wish, I am in Arillas, than I can go for a swim now!
Is the weather in the UK the same, so stranged?

We have been back in the Uk for a week now, well almost. This time last week we were at the airport..  It hasnt really been sunny here, sort of on and off but at least it hasnt rained.  If it has I think it has rained during the night.  It has got warmer though.
Seems like everyone has had a rotten summer so far!

Yes, the German summer sounds very similar to the UK summer this year, unfortunately!  Thunder storm yesterday but still very hot and cloudy!

You were dead lucky in the fortnight you chose to go to Arillas.  I'm pretty sure it rained here almost every day you were away!

I know, it was raining when we took off at Gatwick and I dont think it stopped for the whole fortnight.  We couldnt believe Sky News when we saw it.  Also, we had the heatwave too and it reached 57 degrees c. they say then.  People died in Athens and also they had the fires too.  What contrasts!  Oh and an earthquake..  total madness!

The weather this weekend was ok, very muggy though, it rained very early Sunday morning, a terrible storm etc bit i was dead to the world, when i woke up the sun was out and was drying up all the puddles, yesterday awas nice and sunny with a few clouds.

Today has been ok so far, no rain, then i just looked at the 5 day forecast for this week and its sunshine and showers til Thursday and then Friday rain all day apparently, beautiful!!
