We hired boats in Arillas, and had a great time. unfortunately the boat hirer has now left arillas and the nearest hirer is in St. George i think. Great fun though, as long
as you are carefull, and when visiting beaches tilt the engine and propella out of the water before you hit the ground, so you dont damage the propeller or you will be
charged for its repair - about 80 Euro
We also found the ones with the steering wheel, rather than the steering stick were
easier to use, but they tend to be the bigger ones for up to 7 persons, so worth
sharing and all having a go at driving.
No licence or experience needed, and the fuel will usually take you as far as Paleo
in one direction, and sidari in the other, can get a bit rough if you try to go out to
the far island which is further than it looks - Have a go - Happy sailing !!

Oh no !
We hired a boat in Arillas last year and it was great so we were looking forward to doing it again.
Hope I don't burn !

Drat!!
We'll have a long walk to get the boat, and another one afterwards to get back to Arillas.  :-(
