Dimitris, we love this.  It's great to have the label (really proud) and great to read everyones story.  We first visited in July 1999 and fell in love with the place immediately.  Been back twice a year ever since with the exception of one year when only visited once and got withdrawl symptoms!  Stayed at Marina many times, hotel and apartments, Kaloudis of course, with you (which was great) and at Arillas Bay.  This year Bardis Sun for first time and loved it as you know.  We dream of one day living there.  12 weeks tomorrow we will be back.  Can't wait.  : )

Hi all

A correction to my earlier visit.

1992 was what is now the Sea Breeze bar and kitchen

1993 was what is now Arillas Bay

Believe it or not my first visit was only in March 2006 when my Mum moved out to join you, since then I have been 7 times and will be averaging about 5-7 times per year spread out over Summer and Winter, I suppose I do have an unfair advantage with having family there but it will always be the prefect place for me to get away from the stresses here, especially in winter.

Hi Joe

I wish I had Arillas 'on tap' like you.

It is a nice feeling, especially now I dont need to take anything with me so if there is room on a friday flight I can just hop on it and go straight there after work.

How amazing is that.  Weekends in Arillas.  I am so jealous.  We saw you in Thalassa whilst you were there in May.  I was going to say hello but realised that you wouldn't know me from Adam and loads of people in the resort were saying, "he's here".  I thought I ought to give you some peace and not act like a stalker.  What I wanted to say was that I love your posts.  You are so full of information and the Christmas Day video was fantastic.  It kept me going in the cold winter months and I loved your report on Mon Amour.  Keep it up Joe.  I am now seriously considering a career in the travel industry as you have just hit on the biggest perk of all.  Well done.  Best Regards, Wendy.

I like that "he's here"... sounds like a celebrity...  Brilliant eh Joe?

It would have been nice to see you but as I hadn't been since Christmas I was so busy catching up with my Mum I didn't really notice anyone around me. Where were you sat, the Thalassa wasn't busy when we were there as it was late? The food was out of this world.

My other haunt was the Malibu bar, I loved sitting in there in the afternoons talking to (argh I'm so bad for names) who is the brother of Nikos from the Mirage.

Eeek - celebrity no way :-( I'm actually quite shy in real life.

I know how you feel, as I am too, just a tad self conscious.  Last year I was embarassed when people recognised me, its the hair!  I was tempted to change the colour this year.

I wondered if that was why you took your picture off your profile so that you wouldn't get recognised ;)
