My friend in Crete has just emailed me to say they have terrible weather there.  All of the above with tremors too.  She was lying on the sofa and all the lights were swinging and she could feel the tremors go up her spine.. ooer!  It wasnt as bad as last years earthquake there though.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

we had thunder/lightening on our last visit to arillas but i have to say that standing in the portofino watching it was really good.....of course the brandy helped.....

2005 we saw a water spout,it crossed the bay and hit the cliff face below the house on the edge, that was something to watch.

I could only watch stuff like that if i was enclosed somewhere, i couldnt stand outside and watch thunder and lightning, just too scared to be out amongst the elements!

We had terrible weather when we were in Zante a  few years agoo the lighting was unbelievable, my husband sat on the balcony watching it while I hid under the covers.

We saw a good storm in 2005. It was fab. Sat out with a bottle of wine and watched it all. It was a really good experience. We were warm, enclosed, and awestruck. Oh yes, in loooooooooove.

In Arillas a few years ago we sat on balcony at Kaloudis watching about three small tornadoes whipping around the bay, it was also lightening but because it was in the distance I wasn't too scared, just drank more wine.  I had never seen anything like it before so we took pictures that turned out great.
