Brilliant folks, thanks for the replies. Where does the bus leave from? We are staying right down at the front  - is there much of a walk to the bus stop? Thanks

ger

The bus normally stops by the junction of armourada

Eggy

Twould be interesting to find out how much 2 people on the bus would be compared to a taxi.

Thanks Ger!
Surely bus would be a lot cheaper....2 adults and 2 children.
Might even get it one way to test it out!!

Thanks everyone!! 3 days to go!!!

Being Devils advocate here surely 4 people at 5e a pop could be close to a Taxi cost?
(unless it's 5e return?)
So a taxi picks you up and stops you hovering around waiting for a bus and possibly releives your stress level.

Interesting , this post.. Taxi or Bus.

Our children are young so assuming they would benefit from a slightly cheaper fare. An interesting one, I will ask around when we arrive in Arillas. If the bus was close to taxi price I agree - taxi would be much more convenient and reliable.
We are hiring a car during our first week so would just be the 2nd week if we wanted to explore!

Truth

I'd just explore first week and relax the second 😀 .

Hi Truth. Yes I know, was just in case we fancied  doing something!
It seems to be very hot at the moment! Can't wait to get back!

Truth

Get yourself off to Agios Georgios , the opposilte way to San Steph,  I prefer it there , its much quieter

Ag. George is far from quiet at the mo. I ventured there on Monday to meet someone and no where to park along the front. Beaches quite busy so maybe July is when many Germans appear there. It does seem to be more German orientaded with owned Villas/Appts and nowt wrong with that.
but..... and my opinion only,  I think that also reflects in the prices around the area.

Truth

Its definitely more geared up for the Germans , I agree . I just think it has a more Greek feel to it than San Steph aswell to be honest
