Hi

Reported today is that Ryanair will slash prices by more than 50% and operate at a loss over the next year, in an attack on struggling rivals.
They have cash reserves of 4 billion euro and a net debt of 400m euro to weather the losses
They restart 40% of its flights from July 1st.

Reported that they may have to move to lower cost airports as they negotiate lower charges.
Also  plan to increase their  fleet with Boeing. Hoping to get big discounts with an order of up to 247 of the new 747's he has ordered as they are desparate to sell.

By last Thursday they had sold 30% of its seats for July, compared to 60% the same time last year.
They would prefer to  pile it high and sell cheap, rather than reduce flights.

There will be no social distancing on board instead it will be mandatory for passengers and crew to wear masks.
Queuing for toilets will be banned with passengers asked to ring a bell to be directed by the crew

They say they will be lucky to  carry 5m passengers this July and the average fare will be 25 - 30 euro
