I reserved a booking.com villa for the end of July for me and my son. What is Corfu and Arilas like at the moment? Are bars ,shops and pools open or closed and in particular , is aqualand open?

Hi

If you look at the info re Greece and holidays on this forum you will see the latest status. Its always being updated . The forum  is a wealth of info from people on the ground.

I looked at Aqualand website and the opening hours show as May - October 2019 so I imagine unless the website is out of date I guess its watch this space for 2020

If all is OK in Greece in July it will depend on Greece saying the UK is on their safe list for holiday makers to enter.

There is also the problem with the UK about to announce a a two week quarantine for anybody entering the country. Not a nice thought after a holiday in the sun.

Hi

Just watching BBC news and they were in Greece. It was said they will open to  tourists next month but not from the UK

Hi
Southend was filling up this morning after coming back from Asda another busy day for the shops etc
My friends mum died last Sunday of cancer my friend went into the funeral parlour to make arrangements she was surprised they got her in for two weeks time
She said I thought I had to wait a few months
He said the deaths have dropped off no corona virus

Jet2 say they are starting to fly to Corfu 21 July
I get a Baltic or German passport just to get out to Arillas

Hi
Last week as the restrictions were relaxed a little we drove early one morning  to Canvey, Leigh, Southend and Westcliff hoping to have nice walk and be able to social distance.
Everywhere was deserted, but where can you park, as all the car parks closed?
Love to have a walk from Leigh to Westcliff.

When I saw all the 1000's  at Southend  recently on the news I wondered where they parked?

Hi
Get some nice pasties there, with a dollop of the yellow stuff they go down well, washed down with a decent English Ale (if the pubs are open).
The Uk has many pleasant suprises.
