Thank you for the lovely pics.
You and your wife should be very proud of what you've achieved. All your hard work has definitely paid off....it looks beautiful and I love the little kumquat tree
Keep posting

Reckon that's the one , Kevin. - I will check with Wendy.
and this is the dreaded sloping bank that Viv was talking about.
.... taken from the house....

.
and taken from the ditch, looking up.

It was the first year that we moved over and the garden was a right 'ole mess. I lost my footing, at the top, and had no choice but the run down the bank and jump the ditch , at the bottom. Jumping the ditch was a necessity and not out of choice as it was bramble covered and soggy!!
You will see , by the photos, that I now leave this last part until all else is complete. Then I pay a youner man to finish it!!
.
This pic may give you a better ideawhy I chicken out.

Wow, I didn't think it was that long it was ago. The photo from the balcony does show it better. XX

Kavaddades  today was a better place to keep sheltered away from, which I think, is the first day of a 3 day mistral.

Loadsa strimming done and now every bone in my body aches. - Too old for all this hectic work.
More planting achieved by Wegg, after her morning Arillas walk. She has better pics than me for tomorrows "Arillas Today"

We touched 30 deg , here at Kavadaddes , today. - Reckon Arillas was about the same but never ventured that far thanks to painting bathroom walls n ceiling.
Probably I would have found Arillas a tad sad, - looking at empty Tavernas , places to park and the lack of Arillas pals. Not a great lover of suncatching but I have been very temped recently. - Tis like a private beach but, knowing my luck, someone will put a towel down next to me. (Probably with 3 screaming sprogs!!)
Twill get better and patience, as they say , is a virtue.

So , and this for not only Viv , but for y'all.
Sebastian is the man...

.
and this is our finished product.

.
and , if you back track a few posts , to our neighbours land you will see a big difference.

,
a lot of planting , a lot of work now followed by a lot of watering.
That takes a lot of bottle - much more than this plant has to offer.
.

.
OK - Not a good pic but it is a Bottle Brush plant so 3 from 10 for trying.
Cheers
