Hi
As previously said I only spend cash on holidays.
For information only  I used my HSBC card on a purchase last week.Paid in Euros and HSBC gave me an exchange rate of 1.13 + £2.26 fee.
Val used a Santander card and got 1.13 + £1.25 fee

We went to get Euros last Saturday at Tesco. They were only offering 1.09. We queried their price match and  they rang around and gave us 1.19. Quite a difference!

We definitely got 1.19. Just checked with my hubby. Don't know where though sorry. I had noticed it was 1.17 at Tui the day before and that is why I queried it.

soniaP

Sorry . Just checked yet again with hubby and it was 1.119.   Yeah blame it on the pinocoladas.
